This fashionable stacking ring set is made from copper wire in my home jewelry studio. Each ring is carefully handmade just for you to be worn together as a set of five. They are all created with the same 14g wire, but may vary in width ever so slightly as they are hand hammered on a mandrel to texture and size. This adds to the natural and organic feeling of the jewelry, and ensures a unique set.
Whenever possible I try to use recycled materials, so some or all of your rings may be made with upcycled copper for an ecofriendly, environmentally responsible product.
There will be two textured rings, two lightly hammered rings, and a smooth round ring with a 5mm bezel set turquoise as the center feature ring. The colors and patterns of the stone in your set will vary slightly from the one pictured in the example photos.
These rings are soldered with a small amount of sterling silver solder which may or may not be noticeable. This should not be considered a flaw, but merely part of its natural organic beauty, and as a sign of it being a truly handmade item.
When stacking multiple rings, you will require a size up to 1/4" larger than what you normally wear since they take up more room on the finger. All 5 rings in your set must be of the same size, and if you do not upsize they will fit too tight. I will adjust as necessary, please leave a note during checkout with your usual size.
* Please Note: Oxidization is a natural characteristic of Copper. These rings have been hand buffed to bring out their natural shine and will tarnish over time. This can cause some discoloration of the skin in some people due to perspiration, ph, and other factors. Many people believe that copper has healing benefits and prefer the bare metal to be in contact with their skin for maximum benefit, acknowledging the possibility of a green or black tinge as part of the process. The rings can easily be cleaned up with some mild soap and a soft cloth to restore the brilliant copper shine. A mixture of lemon juice and salt also works amazingly well!
In many cases I will be able to create your set right away, but please allow up to 5 business days for me to get them specially made and packaged for mailing to you. Your rings will come well protected in a padded bubblewrap mailer for safe but ecomonical shipping.
